Police last night (August 22) arrested a 44-year-old woman suspected to have killed her 53-year-old husband at their home in Sheung Shui.
About 8.45pm, Police received a report that a man was found injured inside a flat at Yiu Ming House of Wah Ming Estate.
Officers arrived at the scene and located the 53-year-old man lying unconscious in the kitchen with a hammer beside him.
The man was certified dead by ambulancemen at the scene. Initial examinations found wounds on his head.
His 44-year-old wife was arrested for murder at the flat and is being detained for further enquiries.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the cause of the man﷿s death.
Investigations by the District Crime Squad of Tai Po are continuing.
