Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui this morning (February 18) in which a 77-year-old woman was killed.
About 10.35am, a medium goods vehicle driven by a 55-year-old man was travelling along northbound Hankow Road. When reaching near Haiphong Road, it reportedly hit the 77-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
The woman sustained multiple injuries. She was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.08am.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are under way.
