Two vehicular e-channels have been activated at Man Kam To control point. They are located at arrival kiosk number 5 and departure kiosk number 2. The channels are open to the public from 9am to 5pm daily.
Cross-boundary drivers who are Hong Kong permanent residents or Hong Kong residents holding Documents of Identity for Visa Purposes (DI) and have submitted the consent forms authorising the Immigration Department to make use of registration of persons particulars for self-service clearance, can use their smart identity cards to perform clearance at vehicular e-channels.
The Immigration Department said that two more vehicular e-channels were activated at Sha Tau Kok control point on February 18, bringing the number of vehicular e-channels available there to six. They are located at both arrival and departure kiosk numbers 1-3.
