A fire broke out at a range of wooden and tin-sheeted structure with an area of about 40 metres x 50 metres at Cha Kwo Ling Tsuen, Cha Kwo Ling Road in Yau Tong at 00.08am today (January 22).

     The fire was upgraded to No. 3 alarm at 00.17am. Firemen used nine jets and mobilised four breathing apparatus teams to fight the blaze. About 30 people were led to place of safety by firemen.

     The fire was put out at 3.33am.

     One woman and two children were sent to the United Christian Hospital. All of them have been discharged.

     No suspicious circumstance was detected about the cause of the fire.
